With RK-Plan GmbH, the German Datacenter Association welcomes a highly skilled and competent team of qualified engineers, technicians, and technical system planners for data centers and infrastructural large-scale projects into its network.
The engineering office, founded in 2014 and based in Maintal since 2015, specializes in the planning of technical building equipment (TGA) and brings its expertise to the data center industry. The spectrum includes almost all services and trades: From consulting, planning, construction supervision, commissioning to project accounting. As innovators and technical planners for data centers, the specialists develop fail-safe and highly available TGA concepts according to ASHRAE standards, with low PUE values for all TIER classes.
"As a specialist for challenging large-scale projects, data centers have been one of our core areas of activity for many years. We offer a particularly high level of expertise in the fields of BIM and mechanical commissioning," explains Thorsten Rieker, Managing Director of RK-Plan. "With our involvement in the GDA, we aim to provide our comprehensive practical experience and to further advance the digital infrastructure in Germany. To do so, we will focus on the topics of increasing operational reliability, reducing energy costs and achieving sustainability targets."
