The work can originate from the various relevant areas of the value chain. The following list represents examples of possible subject areas and topics, without this being a conclusive list of subject areas. Awards will be given for work that can achieve advances in digitization and data centers.
Best Bachelor Thesis – €1,500

Best Master Thesis – €2,500
Best doctoral thesis – €2,500
Special prize "Sustainable data centers" – €2,500
In addition to the cash prizes, there are other non-cash prizes for participants to win.

Work submitted must be completed between 1 August 2022 and 31 July 2023.
Papers can be submitted in German or English. The papers can be submitted by the authors or by the supervising professors (approval of the graduates required) or by the responsible employees in the companies.
The works may also have been nominated for other awards at the time of submission.
However, any awards received or nominations/submissions must be indicated upon submission.
Applications for the GDA Young Talent Award are free of charge.

In 2023, the winners will again be selected by an independent jury of experts headed by Prof. Dr. Peter Radgen, IER, University of Stuttgart.
