Founded in 1995 with headquarters in Essen, TÜVIT is a company of the TÜV NORD GROUP - one of the world's largest technology service providers with more than 14,000 employees and business activities in 100 countries. Since 2001, TÜVIT has carried out more than 1,500 assessment and certification projects worldwide at well-known colocation and enterprise data centers. The company offers neutral assessments and provides support in all important phases of the data center lifecycle, such as conception, design, construction, commissioning and operation. The basis for this are TÜVIT's own developed criteria catalogs, such as the TSI.STANDARD (Trusted Site Infrastructure) or the TSE.STANDARD (Trusted Site Energy Efficiency), which are often used as a design basis in many new facility construction projects.

The German data center market needs a strong representation of interests, taking into account all related facets. GDA is developing rapidly in this regard.
