A particular aim is also to formulate and advance German interests in Europe and work together with European partners to reach joint solutions – GDA presents an establishes Germany as an interesting and attractive location.
GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION has already entered into a cooperation with the Dutch Datacenter Association, which offers its members a convenient opportunity to exchange ideas and get involved throughout Europe. We are currently in cooperation talks with associations and organisations in Finland, Norway, Ireland and Switzerland.
The board gladly accepted the invitation to work in the independent Security for Data Centres Working Group. The working group is a nationwide coalition of high-level commercial enterprises, authorities, government departments and organisations, which enables the exchange of experiences and ideas, professional information and contemporary further training and development in relation to issues affecting the security of data centres.
At the invitation of the Mittelstandsallianz, Harry Schnabel introduced our association and our objectives at a meeting with Stephan Mayer, the Parliamentary State Secretary for the Federal Minister of the Interior, and received a very positive response.
