Vertiv becomes a GDA partner

Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, is strengthening the network of German Datacenter Association partners. Headquartered in Ohio, USA, the company employs approximately 24,000 people and does business in more than 130 countries worldwide.

Vertiv solves the most important challenges facing today’s data centers, communications networks, and commercial and industrial facilities with its broad portfolio: power, cooling, and IT infrastructure solutions are as much a part of this as services that extend from the cloud to the edge of the network.

"I am very pleased that we are now a member of GDA – a strong and growing industry association. As one of the leading IT infrastructure manufacturers, this is an important matter for us," says Stephan Wippermann, Managing Director & Head of Sales DACH at Vertiv. "Above all, the opportunities for exchange with consumers, customers, but also market companions and politicians in current topics such as carbon reduction or secure energy transition are at the top of our agenda. We are happy to contribute to the association’s work with content such as forum contributions, hosted events, but also active know-how an ides towards action."

Participants of the GDA Net[t]twork Talk in October 2021 already benefited from Vertiv's expert know-how: Samir Delic, Country Manager Switzerland, shared valuable input on the future of edge computing at the online panel. "We are pleased to welcome Vertiv as a partner of the Association,"says GDA Chairwoman Anna Klaft. "As we strive to shape tomorrow's digital infrastructure sustainable, we can certainly benefit greatly from Vertiv's holistic expertise in data center technology."
