Musashi Energy Solutions

Musashi Energy Solutions (MES) is an internationally active technology company headquartered in Yamanashi, Japan. MES develops and manufactures high-performance, long-lasting, and safe Hybrid Supercapacitors (HSCs) that represent a forward-looking solution for modern energy storage applications.

Production takes place entirely at the company’s own facilities in Yamanashi, Japan, while system assembly is carried out in Bad Sobernheim, Germany, and Troy, Michigan, USA. MES's interdisciplinary team of experienced development and systems engineers pursues a holistic approach to innovation – from concept and prototyping to comprehensive testing. The company is committed to continuously challenging technical boundaries and setting new standards in energy storage technology.

Since its founding in 2007, Musashi Energy Solutions has played a pioneering role in the development of Hybrid Supercapacitors. Today, the company operates the world’s largest mass production facility for prismatic HSC cells – a testament to its technological leadership and sustainable growth.

As a responsible person at Musashi Energy Solutions, I am highly motivated to participate in the German Datacenter Association to foster collaboration and innovation within the energy storage sector.

Our commitment will be reflected in active engagement, sharing expertise, and supporting initiatives that align with our values of sustainability and technological advancement. By contributing to the GDA, we aim to enhance the adoption of our Hybride Supercapacitors in critical infrastructure and further solidify our position as a leader in energy solutions for the data center, hospital, and industrial markets.
