Green Datacenter is an established datacenter provider for hyperscalers and enterprise customers, known for over 30 years for innovation, operational excellence, energy efficiency, and connected, secure datacenters.
As part of its expansion strategy, “being present where our customers need us,” the Swiss company Green is increasing its presence in Europe and founded Green Datacenter Germany GmbH in Frankfurt am Main in 2025. The German subsidiary, located at one of Europe’s key data and internet hubs, combines Swiss precision and quality with a clear focus on sustainability, heat reuse, and long-term site utilization.
Green follows an approach that goes beyond simply providing infrastructure: the company emphasizes long-term, partnership-based collaboration, creating measurable value for customers, partners, and the local regions. Its goal is to develop modern, highly available, and future-proof datacenters at strategically important locations in Germany.
Heiko Siats, Managing Director of Green Datacenter Germany GmbH, emphasizes: “Germany is a strategic market for us, where we can contribute our expertise and open up new opportunities for our customers. Through our membership in the German Datacenter Association, we actively participate in shaping the framework conditions for the urgently needed expansion of digital infrastructure.”
“With Green Datacenter Germany, we welcome a datacenter operator to the GDA that consistently combines innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainability. We look forward to an intensive exchange and to the impulses they will bring to our association with their forward-looking approaches,” said Peter Pohlschröder, Deputy Chairman of the GDA Board.
