By welcoming Enterprise Ireland as a new member, the German Datacenter Association (GDA) strengthens its European ties and expands its network with an experienced government agency in the field of data center development.
Enterprise Ireland, the Irish Government's innovation and trade agency, has a global network of 39 offices and extensive experience in hosting and construction projects. This enables the organization to foster the worldwide exchange of best practices and innovations in the data center sector, bringing partners together to successfully implement infrastructure projects.
“We are delighted to join the German Datacenter Association. Ireland plays a crucial role in supporting the German data centre construction industry, drawing on over a decade of experience in hosting and building advanced data centres,” explains Hugh Fitzpatrick, Market Executive at Enterprise Ireland. “This membership represents a pivotal opportunity to bring together the German and Irish ecosystems, advancing the development of the industry in Germany. We eagerly anticipate being active members of the GDA, leveraging both of our networks to foster better collaboration.”
“By adding Enterprise Ireland to our ranks, our network gains not only a new international perspective but also valuable industry expertise that will further advance European collaboration in the data center sector,” emphasizes Anna Klaft, Chairwoman of the GDA. “Through the joint exchange of best practices and innovations, we will continue to shape the future viability and sustainability of data centers in Germany and beyond.”
