Danfoss joins GDA

Founded in 1933 in Nordborg, Denmark, the company has grown from a solo enterprise into one of the world's leading providers of innovative and energy-efficient solutions: with a wide product portfolio, for example oil-free compressors, frequency converters, heat exchangers, and hoses and connectors for liquid cooling, the company is focused on energy efficiency, water reduction and heat reuse.

A delegation of GDA got an impression of the company's "Engineering Tomorrow" mission statement during the study trip to Denmark in October 2021. "With intelligent energy systems for energy-efficient buildings and data centers, Danfoss supports many companies worldwide on their way to sustainable transformation," Anna Klaft sums up her insight from the excursion to the Danfoss site on the island of Alsen. "We are looking forward to an intensive exchange with Danfoss on the topic of 'Beyond PUE'," continues the Chairwoman of the German Datacenter Association.

“Moving beyond PUE is key in the journey towards sustainability for the industry. We are excited to join the German Datacenter Association which is a critical stakeholder to help strengthening sustainability in the industry”, says Jakob Jul Jensen, Director Digital Infrastructure at Danfoss Climate Solutions. Stefan König, President Central European Region, Danfoss continues: “Together with GDA, we are pleased to drive the expansion of digital infrastructure in Germany and Europe. I’m excited about helping the industry in constant move towards more sustainable solutions.”
