Frankfurt DATA FFO AI GmbH is a young company focused on developing a hyperscale data center site in Frankfurt (Oder). Drawing on many years of experience in real estate and project development, the company has laid the groundwork for the project through strategic land acquisitions, streamlined decision-making processes, and close collaboration with the city, the county, and government agencies. The project is designed for a scalable capacity of 350 MW and combines data center capacity, energy infrastructure, storage technologies, and grid connectivity in an integrated campus model.
The company is part of the SolWo Group, which has been carrying out real estate and project developments in residential construction for many years. The company is now applying this experience to the data center sector. With the planned site, the company aims to contribute to Germany’s continued development as a high-performance and internationally competitive data center location.
“Frankfurt (Oder) is becoming a key hub for AI and hyperscale infrastructure in eastern Germany. As a GDA member, we want to play an actively sole in shaping the discourse on sovereign, European data centers,” says Şenol Ince, Managing Director of Frankfurt DATA FFO AI GmbH.
Martin Kohoutek, CEO of the German Datacenter Association, emphasizes: “With Frankfurt DATA FFO AI GmbH, we welcome a company to our network that is driving the development of a new data center site in eastern Germany.
