Impressive: FrankfurtRheinMain and China's "Silicon Valley"

For the fifth and last Net [t] work Lunch, the GDA, together with the German Liaison Office of the Zhongguancun Science Park, welcomed a professionally interested audience to a common exchange of experience and to a qualified discussion in a relaxed atmosphere in the rooms of the Regionalverband FrankfurtRheinMain.

GDA chairman Harry Schnabel reported on the development of the association since its founding, in particular in the year that is now coming to an end, and gave an outlook on the projects in 2020. Frank Tekkilic, Head of the Press, Communications and Marketing Unit of the Regionalverband FrankfurtRheinMain, offered the participants one overview of the structure, tasks and fields of activity of the association working far beyond the borders of Frankfurt.

Yi Zhao, Vice Director of the German Liaison Office of Zhongguancun Science Park, presented the idea and development of Guizhou Province, which is referred to as the "Silicon Valley" of China. He impressively provided insight into the scope and importance of the facility for science and technology Research, but also as a home for chinese high-tech talents and as the source of numerous successful developments - around 10,000 companies are already located in this province.

In the subsequent relaxed exchange and in-depth discussions, the Net[t]workers had the opportunity to discuss with the speaker, but also to discuss technical questions and problems with the other participants.

"The GDA Net[t]work Lunch has already become a recognized facility in the data center scene, so we will continue to do it next year and the first companies have expressed their interest in being host and providing their technical input", said Harry Schnabel goodbye to the participants in Frankfurt. The first Net[t]work Lunch 2020 is expected to take place on March 27 - more details coming soon.
