In order to reach interested people in northern Germany, this time the GDA Net[t]work Lunch took place in the premises of the company Bureau Veritas - a well-known name in the industry. The business unit Data Center Consulting and Services offers with interdisciplinary expertise the supervision of data center projects from the first planning phase through the development and implementation to the ongoing operation of a data center. As sponsor, Bureau Veritas not only provided the premises, the company also covered the cost of drinks and lunch and was a Nordic-friendly host.

As a welcome, Harry Schnabel, Chairman of the GDA, outlined the Association's current goals and achievements and talked about transnational cooperation with other European associations. The interest in Harry Schnabel's career as a pioneer of the data center industry was great, so he was asked to tell from his busy career. Kort-Hinrich Heumann, Business Unit Manager Datacenter Consulting at Bureau Veritas, also spoke about many years working in the planning and implementation of data centers.

Business is created by people

Together, the Net[t]workers took lunch in a relaxed atmosphere, held interesting discussions, exchanged views and made new contacts. During a short walk to the quay, the conversations did not stop and new conversational constellations provided enriching impressions for everyone involved.
