TSL GmbH, an internationally active general contractor for (large-scale) construction projects, is joining GDA. Founded in England in 1992, the company has also been building data centres since 2018 in Germany from a single source according to the "build-to-suit" principle.
In the USA, UK and throughout Europe, TSL develops, plans and implements large-scale construction projects for customers in the logistics, food and pharmaceutical, and high-tech industries - and does so in accordance with the highest safety, sustainability and availability criteria, which have a decisive influence on the planning of the projects from the very beginning.
"Criteria such as security, energy efficiency and, above all, sustainability must be considered economically on the part of the companies," says Stefan Behrendt, Chief Operation Officer at TSL. "But they are also infrastructural tasks for which we actively address regional publics and municipalities."
"In order to achieve the overarching goal of sustainable and climate-friendly digitalisation, we are particularly keen to work specifically with urban planners and network operators and advocate for appropriate framework conditions," says GDA Chairwoman Anna Klaft. "The 360-degree perspective of a general contractor based in Germany who thinks conceptually here is very helpful for this exchange."
